Chatelherault Cottage

Project Description

One storey cottage located in the heart of the Chatelherault Country Park was remodelled completely to provide modern and spacious accommodation. The work included the overhaul of the old and dated décor and establishing the new layout of the house with an open plan kitchen, dining and living space, adding new bathrooms, spacious bedrooms, new decking and replacing the roof. The whole cottage was finished to a luxurious standard and decorated tastefully with designers’ furniture and modern decorative pieces to create comfortable oasis for its owners

Project Description

New addition to the semi-detached Victorian house in Jordanhill provided Client with an open plan kitchen and bright dining area as well as new utility and shower room. 

Anthracite windows and large rooflights maximise daylight while pale grey bricks and aluminium cladding give the new addition a contemporary look and a beautiful backdrop to the garden.

The original contractor for this project has left the Client with mostly unfinished work. ABC Construction had agreed to take this challenge and completed the project to a very tight timeline. Project Description

Single storey extension to the rear of the traditional bungalow created a living space and utility room. Existing kitchen was opened up by removing the wall which resulted in a large kitchen, diner and living area. 

External steel frame was not only the structural element of the built but finished in anthracite colour provided dramatic and unique look of the extension. Matching windows and doors with red cedar cladding and white walls created sheltered patio and connect seamlessly with the back garden.
